KNUST Writers Association Invites Students Writers to ‘Grapholympics’ Conference 2018

The KNUST Writers’ Association in partnership with the Nitram Group and support from Apex Capital and GKEdahSpeaks are set to present the 2018 edition of the writer’s conference dubbed, “Grapholympics” under the theme, ”Effective Writing Skills in Affecting our Society”.

Grapholympics, which is a combination of two words, that is, graphology (writing) and Olympics(a sporting event) is aimed at bringing together both young and experienced writers among other stakeholders to discuss, deliberate and decide on issues pertaining to effective writing skills, speaking skills and building attitude.

The program which happens to be the second edition since its inception in 2016 seeks to bring many writers together to acquire necessary skills and tools to affect society positively through their writings.

This year’s edition will bring renowned writers, media personalities, social media experts, publishers and other stakeholders to connect with students and share very prudent ideas.

Grapholympics 2018 will be held on February 24, 2018 at the Great Hall of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology from 8:00 am to 13:00pm

The Speakers for this years conference are
* Mr JOT Agyeman (Actor and Media Personality. Host of Talking Point)
* Mr Jonathan Adzokpe (Lecturer and CEO of Hetura Publishing Company)
* Mr G. Kobina Edah (Author and Motivational Speaker)
* Mr Samuel Abeiku Dadson (Social Media Expert)

* Naaana Yaa Ofosua Acheampong (Playwrite and CEO of Sajurst Incorporated)
among other renowned script writers and public speakers.

They will be speaking on various issues relating to writing, speaking, publishing, media, academic writing and many more.
